With the PC Cleaner 2020 from Abelssoft you can clean up your hard drive or SSD: The program deletes garbage data and is sometimes more thorough than the CCleaner. How to use the tool.
With extensive and long-term PC use, garbage data accumulates that does not always make sense and clogs the hard drive or an SSD, which is even tighter in terms of storage space. You can get help from the PC cleaner: This exclusive full version cleans your plate pore-deep. The program is based on WashAndGo, a retail product from Abelssoft – and is available here for free. The new PC-Cleaner 2020 version has a fresh design and, as usual, frees Windows and third-party programs from ballast – these can also accumulate signs of use. You can also use the tool to uninstall software and shred files. Scanning for garbage data takes time, but in the end, your file system is tidy and “in good shape” – so it should be worthwhile when there is little storage space.
Install PC-Cleaner 2020
To install the PC-Putzer 2020, download it and double-click on the setup file “PC-Putzer-CBE-ONLINE.exe”. If a warning message from Windows User Account Control (UAC) appears, confirm it by clicking on “Yes”. Click your way through the setup by selecting “Next> Next> Next” and then clicking “Install” and “Finish”. In the standard system, the program starts automatically after installation. In the future, you can call it up by double-clicking the new desktop link. A UAC prompt must also be confirmed with “Yes” for the PC cleaner call. You can find out how to use the main function – scanning for garbage data and eliminating it – in the photo gallery above.
PC-Cleaner 2020 and CCleaner in comparison
We briefly let the PC-Cleaner compete against the CCleaner in 2020 to find out which program detects more garbage. The CCleaner version 5.67.7763 (internal PC cleaner version: 25.8) was used. Both programs ran under Windows 10 64-bit, version 2004 (May 2020 update). The CCleaner found around 605 megabytes of garbage with all the boxes checked.
For comparison: The PC cleaner offers three levels of thoroughness for finding ballast, so a scan was carried out in each case. In the superficial but quick cleaning variant “Express cleaning” 576 megabytes came together. The “intensive cleaning” found 1,431 megabytes of expendable items. The “radical cleaning” wins with 17,702 megabytes. Note: In the photo gallery above you can see a screenshot according to which the program has found a different amount of garbage data; This is another test run by the PC cleaner, which is why the values differ here.
